If you’re reading this, chances are you’re interested to publish your work here on Inksight.
To guide you on the process, follow the given guidelines:
All submissions must have:
- a title
- a subheading (also known in magazine production as standfirst)
- and your byline
Please standardize your font size to 12. Entries must NOT EXCEED 700 words.
Stick to the Associated Press style guidelines. If you’re not sure, you may refer to any of the advisors (Ms Natasha, Ms Ismalinda and Ms Joanne) at the staffroom or make an appointment to show samples of your draft or to discuss potential scoops or story ideas. This is highly important for students taking Inksight as their 2 credit elective. Entries can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org while enquiries and comments can be made to Ms Ismalinda and Ms Joanne via Inksight facebook.
We also accept articles that have already been written which you feel can fit into any of our categories. We welcome any submissions that can enrich the lives of members of the community. However, bear in mind that articles submitted to us can and will be published on Inksight at our discretion. This means, if you wrote about someone/company as in a profile, ensure that your subject has been briefed on being made public. Though we advocate freedom of press as part of the journalism experience, kindly ensure that your articles do not violate the Constitutional Laws of Malaysia namely, laws, acts and policies such as the Printing Press and Publication Act, the Internal Security Act and Article 5 through Article 181.
